VIP Executive Check Up (Male)

Steps Involved in IVF:

Procedure Description

A VIP Executive Check-Up is an extensive health assessment specifically designed for high-level executives, professionals, and business leaders. Tailored to detect early signs of potential health issues and monitor overall wellness, this executive check-up goes beyond the standard physical examination. With a focus on preventive care and health optimization, this check-up integrates advanced diagnostic testing, screening protocols, and specialist consultations, aiming to identify and mitigate health risks associated with a demanding lifestyle.

Typically, the check-up includes a series of diagnostic tests covering cardiovascular health, metabolic and endocrine functions, cancer screenings, and overall organ function. For men, specific assessments are included to monitor prostate health, testosterone levels, and markers related to male-specific cancers. Other specialized services may include a full body scan, MRI, and a detailed blood panel. The goal is not only to check for potential health issues but to craft a personalized health and wellness plan based on the patient’s results, lifestyle, and goals.

Beyond medical testing, many VIP Executive Check-Ups also incorporate lifestyle assessments and counseling. A holistic approach allows physicians to advise on nutrition, physical fitness, mental health, and stress management strategies. The patient can expect a highly personalized experience, where the entire process is coordinated by a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing a comprehensive picture of current health and guidance for long-term wellness.

Procedure Duration

The VIP Executive Check-Up is generally conducted over one to two days. Day one typically begins with a fasting blood test, which is analyzed for various markers, including cholesterol, blood sugar, liver enzymes, and tumor markers. Afterward, imaging tests may follow, such as ultrasounds, X-rays, or advanced body scans. These assessments are often conducted in a private, comfortable environment with a dedicated medical team coordinating the schedule to optimize time and minimize patient wait times.

Following initial diagnostics, patients meet with specialist doctors based on preliminary findings. For instance, if cardiac markers indicate potential issues, a cardiology consultation may be arranged for the same day. Some centers offer additional diagnostic imaging, like CT scans or MRIs, to provide a clearer insight into specific areas of concern, particularly if the patient has a family history of cardiovascular disease, cancer, or other genetic conditions. These consultations may lead to lifestyle or medication recommendations.

After completing all testing, a follow-up session is usually scheduled on the same or following day. In this session, the results are reviewed, and a comprehensive wellness plan is created. Some packages also include virtual follow-up consultations, allowing patients to check in on their progress and adjust their wellness plan as needed.

How to Choose the Right Doctor and Hospital

Selecting the right healthcare provider for a VIP Executive Check-Up involves several considerations. Start by researching the hospital or clinic’s expertise in executive health assessments. Look for facilities known for using advanced diagnostic technology and offering highly personalized service. Reading reviews from other executives and business travelers can provide insight into the quality of care, professionalism, and overall patient experience.

It’s equally important to ensure that the medical team includes highly qualified specialists across multiple disciplines. Look for providers who offer transparency in pricing and a clear explanation of the services included. As VIP check-ups require access to a range of tests and consultations, consider a facility with well-coordinated care pathways, ensuring a seamless experience that aligns with your time constraints and health priorities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What actually happens during hyperstimulation of the ovaries?

The patient will take injectable FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) for eight to eleven days, depending on how long the follicles take to mature. This hormone is produced naturally in a woman’s body causing one egg to develop per cycle. Taking the injectable FSH causes several follicles to develop at once, at approximately the same rate. The development is monitored with vaginal ultrasounds and following the patient’s levels of estradiol and progesterone. FSH brand names include Repronex, Follistim, Menopur, Gonal-F and Bravelle. The patient injects herself daily.

What happens during egg retrieval?

When the follicles have developed enough to be harvested, the patient attends an appointment  where she is anesthetized and prepared for the procedure. Next, the doctor uses an ultrasound probe to guide a needle through the vaginal wall and into the follicle of the ovary. The thin needle draws the follicle fluid, which is then examined by an embryologist to find the eggs. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.

What happens to the eggs?

In the next step, the harvested eggs are then fertilized. If the sperm from the potential father, or in some cases, anonymous donor, has normal functionality, the eggs and sperm are placed together in a dish with a nutrient fluid, then incubated overnight to fertilize normally. If the sperm functionality is suboptimal, an embryologist uses Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection to inject a single sperm into a single egg with an extremely precise glass needle.  Once fertilization is complete, the embryos are assessed and prepared to be transferred to the patient’s uterus.

How are the embryos transferred back to the uterus?

The doctor and the patient will discuss the number of embryos to be transferred. The number of successfully fertilized eggs usually determines the number of eggs to be placed in the uterus. Embryos are transferred to the uterus with transabdominal ultrasound guidance. This process does not require anesthesia, but it can cause minor cervical or uterine discomfort. Following transfer, the patient is advised to take at least one days bed rest and two or three additional days of rest, then 10 to 12 days later, two pregnancy tests are scheduled to confirm success. Once two positive tests are completed, an obstetrical ultrasound is ordered to show the sac, fetal pole, yolk sac and fetal heart rate.

Embryoscope©

Built into this technology there is a microscope with a powerful camera that allows the uninterrupted monitoring of the embryo during its first hours of life. In this way, we can keep a close eye on the embryo, from the moment when the oocyte is inseminated and begins to divide into smaller and smaller cells, until it can be transferred to the uterus.
