VIP Exceutive Chek Up (Female)

Steps Involved in IVF:

Procedure Description

The VIP Executive Check-Up for women is an advanced, holistic health evaluation designed for high-level diagnostic precision, particularly suited for executives and professionals who prioritize proactive health management. Unlike standard check-ups, this executive screening program includes an extensive array of diagnostic tests and assessments aimed at detecting early signs of disease, monitoring existing conditions, and providing a complete view of one’s overall health. The aim is to catch potential health risks at the earliest stage and empower women to take informed steps to preserve their health and vitality.

This check-up typically encompasses a series of advanced screenings, including cardiovascular evaluation, metabolic analysis, bone density testing, and comprehensive hormone assessments. Given the differences in female physiology and the particular health risks women face, the VIP check-up includes screenings for breast cancer, reproductive health, bone health, and more. Preventive screenings, like mammograms and pelvic exams, are prioritized to address the unique risks associated with female health. Additionally, personalized consultations with specialized physicians may be offered to discuss lifestyle changes, nutrition, and exercise, along with a review of genetic predispositions that may influence health.

Another hallmark of the VIP Executive Check-Up is the integration of wellness assessments to create a complete profile of a patient’s health and lifestyle. Many programs include stress and mental health assessments, as well as customized wellness plans, to help women address both physical and emotional well-being. The tailored approach ensures that each participant receives comprehensive insights and recommendations for maintaining health, vitality, and quality of life.

Procedure Duration

The VIP Executive Check-Up is generally designed as a full-day experience, though it can vary depending on the individual’s specific needs and the range of diagnostic tests involved. A typical check-up can last between 4 to 8 hours, covering an array of screenings and consultations. During this period, patients may move through various testing phases, each carefully sequenced to optimize their time and provide a thorough health assessment. A dedicated care team often coordinates the schedule to minimize wait times and ensure a streamlined, patient-centric experience.

Most programs offer a multi-phase process. The initial phase includes pre-check-up consultations where patients discuss any known health issues, family medical history, and specific health concerns. The actual check-up phase involves laboratory tests, imaging scans (like MRI or CT scans), physical exams, and specialized screenings. These tests are generally conducted in a state-of-the-art diagnostic setting with specialized medical personnel. Some check-ups may also include a post-procedure consultation, where specialists go over the results and offer recommendations for further action, such as lifestyle changes, preventive care, or follow-up treatments.

Recovery time is typically minimal, as this check-up involves non-invasive and minimally invasive testing. After the completion of the check-up, patients can return to regular activities immediately. However, depending on the results, the medical team may recommend follow-up assessments, lifestyle changes, or specific treatments based on the findings. The overall process is designed to be as comfortable and efficient as possible, providing women with peace of mind and actionable insights into their health.

  • Overdiagnosis and Anxiety: Comprehensive check-ups may sometimes detect benign abnormalities, leading to unnecessary worry or follow-up tests. It’s crucial to interpret results with a qualified healthcare provider to avoid anxiety.
  • Costs: VIP check-ups can be costly, as they involve extensive testing and use of state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. It's advisable to review all costs upfront to ensure there are no unexpected expenses.
  • Privacy Concerns: Personal health data privacy is paramount, especially with detailed health assessments. Ensuring the confidentiality and security of medical records should be a priority when selecting a facility.
  • Potential Need for Further Testing: Sometimes, initial check-up results might require additional tests or consultations, which may extend the time and cost involved. It’s important to account for the possibility of supplementary assessments.

How to Choose the Right Doctor and Hospital

Selecting the right healthcare provider for a VIP Executive Check-Up involves careful consideration of several factors. Begin by researching hospitals or clinics known for high-quality diagnostic services, focusing on those with advanced technology and a reputable track record in executive check-ups for women. Look for facilities that prioritize privacy, patient comfort, and efficiency, as these factors are essential for a comprehensive, streamlined check-up experience.

Verify the qualifications of the medical professionals involved, especially those conducting specialized tests like cardiovascular assessments or cancer screenings. International accreditations and certifications, while not mandatory, can indicate a commitment to high standards in patient care and safety. Additionally, patient reviews, testimonials, and referrals from reputable medical tourism agencies can provide valuable insights into the experiences of other patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What actually happens during hyperstimulation of the ovaries?

The patient will take injectable FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) for eight to eleven days, depending on how long the follicles take to mature. This hormone is produced naturally in a woman’s body causing one egg to develop per cycle. Taking the injectable FSH causes several follicles to develop at once, at approximately the same rate. The development is monitored with vaginal ultrasounds and following the patient’s levels of estradiol and progesterone. FSH brand names include Repronex, Follistim, Menopur, Gonal-F and Bravelle. The patient injects herself daily.

What happens during egg retrieval?

When the follicles have developed enough to be harvested, the patient attends an appointment  where she is anesthetized and prepared for the procedure. Next, the doctor uses an ultrasound probe to guide a needle through the vaginal wall and into the follicle of the ovary. The thin needle draws the follicle fluid, which is then examined by an embryologist to find the eggs. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.

What happens to the eggs?

In the next step, the harvested eggs are then fertilized. If the sperm from the potential father, or in some cases, anonymous donor, has normal functionality, the eggs and sperm are placed together in a dish with a nutrient fluid, then incubated overnight to fertilize normally. If the sperm functionality is suboptimal, an embryologist uses Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection to inject a single sperm into a single egg with an extremely precise glass needle.  Once fertilization is complete, the embryos are assessed and prepared to be transferred to the patient’s uterus.

How are the embryos transferred back to the uterus?

The doctor and the patient will discuss the number of embryos to be transferred. The number of successfully fertilized eggs usually determines the number of eggs to be placed in the uterus. Embryos are transferred to the uterus with transabdominal ultrasound guidance. This process does not require anesthesia, but it can cause minor cervical or uterine discomfort. Following transfer, the patient is advised to take at least one days bed rest and two or three additional days of rest, then 10 to 12 days later, two pregnancy tests are scheduled to confirm success. Once two positive tests are completed, an obstetrical ultrasound is ordered to show the sac, fetal pole, yolk sac and fetal heart rate.

Embryoscope©

Built into this technology there is a microscope with a powerful camera that allows the uninterrupted monitoring of the embryo during its first hours of life. In this way, we can keep a close eye on the embryo, from the moment when the oocyte is inseminated and begins to divide into smaller and smaller cells, until it can be transferred to the uterus.
