Ultra Plan

Steps Involved in IVF:

Procedure Description

The Ultra Plan procedure is a modern approach to reshaping and refining specific areas of the body, providing a comprehensive aesthetic transformation. Designed to be minimally invasive, this procedure combines innovative techniques to target localized areas with precision, often addressing issues such as unwanted fat deposits, skin laxity, and minor imperfections. The Ultra Plan approach focuses on delivering noticeable results without the need for extensive surgery, making it an appealing choice for individuals seeking effective but low-risk cosmetic enhancement.

The Ultra Plan often involves a combination of body contouring methods, including advanced liposuction and skin-tightening technologies. These techniques allow for the removal of excess fat while tightening the surrounding skin, helping to achieve a smoother, more sculpted appearance. Unlike traditional body contouring procedures, the Ultra Plan is tailored to each patient’s needs, aiming to provide a customized outcome with minimal downtime.

Patients who opt for the Ultra Plan usually undergo an initial consultation where the areas of concern are identified, and a personalized treatment plan is developed. This tailored approach ensures that the procedure is efficient and effective, targeting specific areas without unnecessary interventions. The result is a highly individualized experience that prioritizes the patient’s goals and physical health while minimizing potential side effects and recovery time.

Procedure Duration

The duration of the Ultra Plan procedure can vary depending on the number and size of areas being treated. Generally, the procedure itself can range from one to three hours. Each phase is planned with meticulous detail, ensuring a smooth flow from pre-operation to post-operation stages. In cases involving larger or multiple areas, the procedure might extend slightly, but the focus remains on delivering quality results within a safe timeframe.

Recovery for the Ultra Plan procedure is relatively swift compared to traditional surgical methods. Most patients can expect to experience mild swelling and bruising in the treated areas for a few days following the procedure. While downtime varies by individual, patients typically resume light activities within a few days and can return to their normal routines within one to two weeks. Full recovery, including the settling of results, may take several weeks to a few months, with optimal outcomes usually visible within this timeframe.

Post-procedure care is crucial to the success of the Ultra Plan. Doctors often recommend wearing compression garments to support healing and maintain the newly sculpted shape. Regular follow-ups are scheduled to monitor progress and address any concerns, ensuring that each patient achieves the best possible outcome. By following these guidelines, patients can expect a streamlined recovery process that aligns with their aesthetic goals and lifestyle.

How to Choose the Right Doctor and Hospital

Choosing a qualified and experienced doctor is vital to the success of the Ultra Plan procedure. When researching potential doctors, consider their qualifications, certifications, and specialization in minimally invasive body contouring techniques. Look for surgeons with a track record of positive outcomes in procedures similar to the Ultra Plan. Reading reviews and testimonials from previous patients can also offer valuable insights into their skills and patient care standards.

Selecting a reputable hospital or clinic is equally important. Seek out facilities that prioritize patient safety, maintain strict hygiene standards, and have state-of-the-art equipment. Frequently Asked Questions

What actually happens during hyperstimulation of the ovaries?

The patient will take injectable FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) for eight to eleven days, depending on how long the follicles take to mature. This hormone is produced naturally in a woman’s body causing one egg to develop per cycle. Taking the injectable FSH causes several follicles to develop at once, at approximately the same rate. The development is monitored with vaginal ultrasounds and following the patient’s levels of estradiol and progesterone. FSH brand names include Repronex, Follistim, Menopur, Gonal-F and Bravelle. The patient injects herself daily.

What happens during egg retrieval?

When the follicles have developed enough to be harvested, the patient attends an appointment  where she is anesthetized and prepared for the procedure. Next, the doctor uses an ultrasound probe to guide a needle through the vaginal wall and into the follicle of the ovary. The thin needle draws the follicle fluid, which is then examined by an embryologist to find the eggs. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.

What happens to the eggs?

In the next step, the harvested eggs are then fertilized. If the sperm from the potential father, or in some cases, anonymous donor, has normal functionality, the eggs and sperm are placed together in a dish with a nutrient fluid, then incubated overnight to fertilize normally. If the sperm functionality is suboptimal, an embryologist uses Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection to inject a single sperm into a single egg with an extremely precise glass needle.  Once fertilization is complete, the embryos are assessed and prepared to be transferred to the patient’s uterus.

How are the embryos transferred back to the uterus?

The doctor and the patient will discuss the number of embryos to be transferred. The number of successfully fertilized eggs usually determines the number of eggs to be placed in the uterus. Embryos are transferred to the uterus with transabdominal ultrasound guidance. This process does not require anesthesia, but it can cause minor cervical or uterine discomfort. Following transfer, the patient is advised to take at least one days bed rest and two or three additional days of rest, then 10 to 12 days later, two pregnancy tests are scheduled to confirm success. Once two positive tests are completed, an obstetrical ultrasound is ordered to show the sac, fetal pole, yolk sac and fetal heart rate.

Embryoscope©

Built into this technology there is a microscope with a powerful camera that allows the uninterrupted monitoring of the embryo during its first hours of life. In this way, we can keep a close eye on the embryo, from the moment when the oocyte is inseminated and begins to divide into smaller and smaller cells, until it can be transferred to the uterus.
