LPG-Endermologie
Steps Involved in IVF:
Procedure Description
LPG-Endermologie is a non-surgical, FDA-approved treatment aimed at reducing the appearance of cellulite, sculpting the body, and rejuvenating skin. Originating from the French company LPG Systems, the technique leverages mechanical stimulation, or “mechanotransduction,” to improve cellular activity in the skin. This unique approach involves the use of motorized rollers and gentle suction that work over the body’s tissues to stimulate skin and underlying fat cells. Through a deep massage-like effect, LPG-Endermologie is designed to boost circulation, promote collagen production, and assist in lymphatic drainage, enhancing overall skin tone and elasticity.
The treatment is widely recognized for addressing cosmetic and therapeutic needs, making it a versatile choice for patients seeking aesthetic improvements and relief from various conditions. Its non-invasive nature has garnered popularity among individuals who want body contouring without the downtime associated with surgical procedures. LPG-Endermologie is also utilized to relieve symptoms of conditions like lymphedema, muscular pain, and poor circulation, as the mechanical stimulation helps in loosening tissues and improving blood flow.
Due to its safe, non-invasive profile, the treatment is suitable for many areas of the body, including the thighs, abdomen, arms, and even the face. Patients undergoing LPG-Endermologie can anticipate a series of sessions to achieve the desired outcomes, as results are generally gradual, developing over time with successive treatments.
Procedure Duration
The duration of LPG-Endermologie can vary depending on the area being treated and the patient's unique needs. Typically, each session lasts between 35 to 50 minutes, focusing on one or multiple targeted areas. During the session, the practitioner applies a specialized hand-held device over the skin in specific movements designed to encourage optimal tissue stimulation. While patients often notice improvements after the first few sessions, most require a series of 10-15 sessions for full results.
Recovery time for LPG-Endermologie is minimal to none, making it an attractive option for those with busy schedules or who prefer not to undergo lengthy recuperation. After a session, patients can return to normal activities immediately, as the treatment is gentle and generally does not cause significant side effects. Minor redness or mild tenderness may be experienced in treated areas, but these effects typically resolve quickly without further intervention.
For optimal results, treatments are usually scheduled twice a week over a period of a few weeks, although some providers may adjust the schedule based on the individual’s progress and goals. Regular maintenance sessions, such as one or two per month, are often recommended to sustain the effects of the initial series, as the improvements in circulation and skin tone may diminish over time without continued stimulation.

How to Choose the Right Doctor and Hospital
Selecting the right provider for LPG-Endermologie involves several key considerations. First, it is essential to verify the provider’s qualifications and experience in LPG-Endermologie specifically, as expertise in this technique can influence the quality and safety of results. Look for a practitioner who has certification and documented experience with LPG technology, as well as an understanding of the device’s applications and capabilities.
The facility’s standards also play a significant role in ensuring a positive treatment experience. Ideally, patients should seek clinics with a strong reputation for hygiene, patient care, and comfort. When evaluating potential providers, consider reading patient reviews and looking for facilities that offer comprehensive consultations, where practitioners provide personalized recommendations based on each patient’s unique goals and concerns.

Frequently Asked Questions
What actually happens during hyperstimulation of the ovaries?
The patient will take injectable FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) for eight to eleven days, depending on how long the follicles take to mature. This hormone is produced naturally in a woman’s body causing one egg to develop per cycle. Taking the injectable FSH causes several follicles to develop at once, at approximately the same rate. The development is monitored with vaginal ultrasounds and following the patient’s levels of estradiol and progesterone. FSH brand names include Repronex, Follistim, Menopur, Gonal-F and Bravelle. The patient injects herself daily.
What happens during egg retrieval?
When the follicles have developed enough to be harvested, the patient attends an appointment where she is anesthetized and prepared for the procedure. Next, the doctor uses an ultrasound probe to guide a needle through the vaginal wall and into the follicle of the ovary. The thin needle draws the follicle fluid, which is then examined by an embryologist to find the eggs. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.
What happens to the eggs?
In the next step, the harvested eggs are then fertilized. If the sperm from the potential father, or in some cases, anonymous donor, has normal functionality, the eggs and sperm are placed together in a dish with a nutrient fluid, then incubated overnight to fertilize normally. If the sperm functionality is suboptimal, an embryologist uses Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection to inject a single sperm into a single egg with an extremely precise glass needle. Once fertilization is complete, the embryos are assessed and prepared to be transferred to the patient’s uterus.
How are the embryos transferred back to the uterus?
The doctor and the patient will discuss the number of embryos to be transferred. The number of successfully fertilized eggs usually determines the number of eggs to be placed in the uterus. Embryos are transferred to the uterus with transabdominal ultrasound guidance. This process does not require anesthesia, but it can cause minor cervical or uterine discomfort. Following transfer, the patient is advised to take at least one days bed rest and two or three additional days of rest, then 10 to 12 days later, two pregnancy tests are scheduled to confirm success. Once two positive tests are completed, an obstetrical ultrasound is ordered to show the sac, fetal pole, yolk sac and fetal heart rate.
Embryoscope©
Built into this technology there is a microscope with a powerful camera that allows the uninterrupted monitoring of the embryo during its first hours of life. In this way, we can keep a close eye on the embryo, from the moment when the oocyte is inseminated and begins to divide into smaller and smaller cells, until it can be transferred to the uterus.
