Accusculpt® Laserlipolysis
Steps Involved in IVF:
Procedure Description
Accusculpt® Laserlipolysis is an innovative and minimally invasive body contouring procedure designed for precise fat reduction and skin tightening. Unlike traditional liposuction, which relies on mechanical force to remove fat cells, Accusculpt® utilizes a specialized laser system that liquefies fat in targeted areas. The laser technology used in Accusculpt® specifically targets fat cells without impacting surrounding tissues, resulting in a smoother recovery process and more refined outcomes. This makes it especially suitable for individuals who are looking to contour small, hard-to-target areas such as the chin, neck, arms, or abdomen.
The core of Accusculpt® lies in its laser wavelength, which has been calibrated to disrupt fat cells while promoting collagen production in the skin. This dual-action approach enables the procedure to not only reduce unwanted fat but also enhance skin tone and firmness in the treated area. The collagen-boosting effects are particularly appealing for individuals with slight skin laxity who wish to achieve a toned, youthful appearance.
Accusculpt® Laserlipolysis typically requires only local anesthesia, which reduces the risks associated with general anesthesia and enhances the patient's comfort during the procedure. Since it’s minimally invasive, most patients experience minimal discomfort and a quick return to daily activities, making it a popular option among individuals seeking effective, low-downtime body contouring solutions. With Accusculpt®, patients can attain long-lasting results with fewer complications compared to traditional methods, as the targeted laser minimizes trauma to surrounding tissues and reduces post-procedure swelling.
Procedure Duration
The duration of an Accusculpt® session depends on the area or areas being treated and the amount of fat to be removed. Generally, the procedure lasts between 30 minutes and two hours per area. For smaller regions such as the chin or neck, the procedure duration may be closer to the 30-45 minute range, while more extensive areas like the abdomen may take up to two hours. In most cases, the treatment is completed in one session, though some patients may opt for additional treatments for further refinement.
Recovery from Accusculpt® Laserlipolysis is typically fast. Since it’s minimally invasive and requires only local anesthesia, most patients can expect to resume normal activities within 24 to 48 hours. However, some minor swelling, bruising, or mild discomfort may be present in the treated areas, subsiding within a few days to weeks. Compression garments may be recommended to enhance results and reduce swelling, especially in larger treatment areas.
The full results of Accusculpt® typically become visible over several weeks to months as the body metabolizes the disrupted fat cells and collagen synthesis continues to improve skin firmness. Patients often notice gradual, natural-looking enhancements as the skin tightens around the reduced fat volume, revealing a more contoured and defined appearance. Because Accusculpt® promotes collagen growth, patients may enjoy ongoing skin-improving effects for several months post-treatment, making this a favored choice for long-lasting body contouring.

Risks & Considerations
- Skin Burns: As with any laser-based procedure, there is a small risk of skin burns if the laser is not applied correctly.
- Swelling and Bruising: While minimized, some swelling and bruising can still occur, especially in larger treatment areas.
- Infection: Though rare, any invasive procedure carries a slight risk of infection. Patients should follow post-procedure care instructions diligently.
- Temporary Numbness: Some patients report mild numbness in the treated area, which typically resolves within a few days or weeks.
- Asymmetry or Irregularities: Precise laser application is key, as irregularities in fat removal can result in uneven contours or asymmetry.
How to Choose the Right Doctor and Hospital
Selecting a qualified doctor and hospital for Accusculpt® Laserlipolysis is essential to achieving optimal results and minimizing risks. Look for a practitioner who is board-certified and has specific experience with laser lipolysis procedures, as this indicates a deep understanding of both the laser technology and body contouring techniques. Reading patient reviews and viewing before-and-after photos can also provide insight into the doctor’s expertise and patient satisfaction rates.
In addition to evaluating the doctor’s credentials, ensure the facility adheres to international standards for cleanliness and patient care. Opt for a clinic with modern equipment, comprehensive patient support, and a strong track record of successful aesthetic procedures. When traveling internationally, it’s also beneficial to choose facilities that cater to medical tourists, as these clinics often have dedicated teams to support international patients through the process and facilitate a smooth experience from consultation to recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions
What actually happens during hyperstimulation of the ovaries?
The patient will take injectable FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) for eight to eleven days, depending on how long the follicles take to mature. This hormone is produced naturally in a woman’s body causing one egg to develop per cycle. Taking the injectable FSH causes several follicles to develop at once, at approximately the same rate. The development is monitored with vaginal ultrasounds and following the patient’s levels of estradiol and progesterone. FSH brand names include Repronex, Follistim, Menopur, Gonal-F and Bravelle. The patient injects herself daily.
What happens during egg retrieval?
When the follicles have developed enough to be harvested, the patient attends an appointment where she is anesthetized and prepared for the procedure. Next, the doctor uses an ultrasound probe to guide a needle through the vaginal wall and into the follicle of the ovary. The thin needle draws the follicle fluid, which is then examined by an embryologist to find the eggs. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.
What happens to the eggs?
In the next step, the harvested eggs are then fertilized. If the sperm from the potential father, or in some cases, anonymous donor, has normal functionality, the eggs and sperm are placed together in a dish with a nutrient fluid, then incubated overnight to fertilize normally. If the sperm functionality is suboptimal, an embryologist uses Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection to inject a single sperm into a single egg with an extremely precise glass needle. Once fertilization is complete, the embryos are assessed and prepared to be transferred to the patient’s uterus.
How are the embryos transferred back to the uterus?
The doctor and the patient will discuss the number of embryos to be transferred. The number of successfully fertilized eggs usually determines the number of eggs to be placed in the uterus. Embryos are transferred to the uterus with transabdominal ultrasound guidance. This process does not require anesthesia, but it can cause minor cervical or uterine discomfort. Following transfer, the patient is advised to take at least one days bed rest and two or three additional days of rest, then 10 to 12 days later, two pregnancy tests are scheduled to confirm success. Once two positive tests are completed, an obstetrical ultrasound is ordered to show the sac, fetal pole, yolk sac and fetal heart rate.
Embryoscope©
Built into this technology there is a microscope with a powerful camera that allows the uninterrupted monitoring of the embryo during its first hours of life. In this way, we can keep a close eye on the embryo, from the moment when the oocyte is inseminated and begins to divide into smaller and smaller cells, until it can be transferred to the uterus.
