Sergio Restrepo

With a strong background in multi-country and multicultural marketing, I have built a solid foundation for driving development strategies and integrating creative digital solutions to achieve business growth. Whether managing existing accounts or expanding into new market territories, I understand the challenges and importance of collaboration required to execute successful growth marketing initiatives. My current focus is on developing integrated customer data platforms to achieve successful omnichannel marketing capabilities.

I am also an invited professor in digital marketing and digital transformation at top business schools such as ESADE Business School in Spain, Georgetown University and Boston University in the United States, and INCAE Business School in Costa Rica.

Some of my key accomplishments include:

  • Creating the POINTS methodology for strategic Go-to-Market efforts.
  • Successfully designing and implementing CDP/CRM rollouts using a wide range of tools, including Salesforce, Hubspot, Oracle, and Salesmanago.
  • Spearheading the creation of multicultural marketing innovation opportunities for global brands such as Microsoft, Nestlé, 3M, Starbucks, Chrysler, Porsche, Apple, and Google at Lionbridge.
  • Founding diverse startups that were later acquired by global and local organizations.
  • Attaining the "Great Place to Work" award for two consecutive years and recognition in Forbes as one of the "Top 30 Talent Development Companies" by focusing on technical capabilities and culture at Lionbridge's Costa Rica site.
  • Launching full-service digital agencies from concept to creation and growing them to over 200 employees. I positioned these organizations as digital powerhouses, designing and executing innovative Digital Marketing Performance strategies.
