Sam Lock is the Executive Director of Commercial Development at Sidra Medicine. He joined the organization in April 2024, where he is responsible for leading its commercialization, business development and marketing initiatives.

Mr. Lock has over 15 years’ experience across commercial, operational and financial disciplines in the healthcare sector.

Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Mr. Lock was the Regional Chief Operating Officer (Midlands) at HCA Healthcare UK, where he held a long-standing career,  including as Director of NHS Partnerships and Head of Business Development.

Previously he was Board Trustee of the Dragonfly Cancer Trust, and worked as a Healthcare Financial Distress practitioner at PriveWaterhouseCoopers. He formatively held operational positions within the UK NHS across a range of surgical and medical services.
