Michelle McGuire

Michelle McGuire, MBA, is Vice President of International Affairs and Chief of Staff at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. She serves as an adviser to the CEO by providing strategic oversight and ensuring alignment of organizational priorities. Michelle’s responsibilities also include leading special projects for the health system and partnering with members of the executive team on the execution of critical business functions across the organization.

Michelle also leads Children’s National international engagements, including the global patient referral program. Michelle is responsible for developing the strategy and defining the priorities for international engagement for Children’s National. Michelle brings her broad interests in global business from her early professional experience in international development with a Virginia-based NGO.

Michelle joined the team at Children’s National in 2011 with extensive experience in providing business solutions to Fortune 50 companies. She spent the majority of her career at Deloitte Consulting in New York, where she led engagements in business process improvement, system integration and implementation, strategy and corporate governance. She brings impressive experience as a strategic adviser to C-suite executives to her role at Children’s.

Michelle earned an MBA in finance from New York University Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Smith College.
