Dr. Faisal Gilani
Dr Gilani has almost 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He’s currently Cigna’s Regional Director of Provider Network in the Middle East and North Africa where his key responsibilities are provider contracting, relationship management, network development and cost containment. His special area of interest is to implement data driven contracts to make healthcare more affordable in the region by reducing the medical cost at an optimum quality of care. Prior to this role, Dr Gilani has worked in the leading TPA in the region and was Heading the Cost Containment function. He has also served at a senior level position in one of the top hospital group in the UAE and was also part of the first Dubai Health Authority task force team for market guidance on e-authorization and e-claim initiatives.
Dr Gilani was also a speaker in the 2nd Annual Health Insurance conference in the middle east and Africa, where he has given a keynote presentation on “Establishing prompt, smooth and efficient claims management practices in Middle East and Africa”
Dr Gilani is also a certified medical coder from AHIMA and has a CERT LEVEL 1 certification from LOMA as well.
