Throughout his career, Clancey has been lauded for his lateral thinking and people management skills thereby transforming the organizations where he has worked. Having handled diverse roles and an inherent understanding of the marketplace, he understands what it takes to deliver results. He is an outspoken proponent of extraordinary patient experience in the healthcare service delivery system. At NMC Healthcare he is responsible for leading Operations strategy for several NMC entities which includes some of the leading healthcare brands acquired by the group in last few years like Al Zahra Hospital Sharjah, Cosmesurge, Fakih IVF, Provita and several primary care health centres spread across UAE. Additionally, Clancey also handles clinics, rehabilitation and joint venture segments at Emirates Healthcare Group. His functions include consolidating the existing businesses, putting robust growth strategies in place and driving innovation across the network. Clancey is best known for orchestrating the remarkable turnaround of some of the businesses that were not doing well. Prior to joining NMC Healthcare, Clancey held several senior corporate positions in leading healthcare brands across the Middle East and North America. He worked as a Chief Executive Officer of Burjeel Hospital group successfully making it a brand to reckon with in the healthcare industry. He has also worked at Al Ahli Hospital Doha, the largest private Hospital in Qatar. He spent over 14 years in Dubai mainly at Welcare Hospital, now Mediclinic, Emaar Healthcare and MEDIC. Furthermore, Clancey had a short stint as Deputy Hospital Director at Muscat Private Hospital, Oman. Clancey has a Master's degree with distinction in Business Management from the Australian University of Wollongong. He also holds a post graduate degree in Commerce, majoring in Management. He likes to spend time with his family, travelling, socializing and is a voracious reader.
