Travelers entering Ecuador will be required to present a T3 card (available upon arrival at borders and airports), in addition to a valid passport. You will automatically receive a 90-day tourist visa. If you want to stay longer, extensions - up to three additional months - can easily be arranged at the immigration office in Quito.

Tourism in Ecuador is simply amazing. The famous Galapagos Islands boast serene tropical landscapes, and offer some of the world´s best scuba diving experiences with incredible flora and fauna. The weather here is mild and comfortable, perfect for relaxation or adventure.

Ecuador´s volcanoes are just as impressive. In Cotopaxi National Park you have the scenery of the world´s tallest active volcano. Along other glacier covered volcanoes Ecuador brings you spectacular views.

On the eastern part of the country lies the Amazon Jungle. This region is commonly known as the Amazon Basin. Nightlife in Ecuador is a tropical and exotic experience.  Quito´s bars and “discotecas” range from pure Salsa to rave parties. These will easily close until dawn and you will enjoy a great tropical party night. There are fine restaurants, classy English style pubs and karaoke bars that will suit your partying tastes.

If you are more interested in arts rather than partying all night, make sure and visit Quito´s museums. The Colonial Art Museum was a colonial house built in the 16th century and holds a collection of Ecuador´s history. There are also some Military Museums that present historic artifacts of the colonial times.
